If you are looking for a good dealer in central Wisconsin

On July 3rd (saturday) I was driving thru Marshfield, WI. My check engine light lit up and the truck gave a jump, then was surging while going down the road, I pulled into the local ford dealership there (V&H Ford) I saw their empty service bays and seen that they were open until 12noon (only about 8:30 right now) I went in to the service dept and asked if they were able to pull the codes and let me know if it would be safe to drive. Their response was "sorry we are to busy, give us a call on tuesday and they can schedule an appointment for late in the week" WTF!!! I told him I was from out of town and just needed to have the code read so I will know if I can make it back home, his response was "sorry"!! As I left V&H Ford, I called up my family and got the number for the next closest dealer (Rapids Ford, Wis Rapids, WI) They asked me how soon I could be there and had someone waiting when I got there....half hour later I was paying my bill and although the problem was not fixed, I knew I was safe to drive home!!! Even the Tech came and explained to me what was causing my issues and what to do! Even sent me with all the info for my local dealer so they will be able to get it fixed easier!

So to make a long story short if you are looking for a really good dealership in central Wisconsin, check out
Rapids Ford, in Wisconsin Rapids,WI

He walks off,,,, I found a display shoe in my size...

"Hey man I found one on the display in my size"

"I dont even know where the box is"

Another associate was right there...

"They are behind the display"

He walks right over,, finds my box and caught a quick $5 spot from me

Sorry, I did leave that hanging....it was the ICP sensor that went out, tech said it was ok to drive the 180 miles home, brought it into the dealer that usually does my work and they replaced it for $557.00 parts and labor, seemed high and 3 hrs labor seemed like a long time, but I am currently in no shape to climb around the truck to do the repairs with a broken leg!!

It's in a bad place on an '03, and they relocated it for the '04 motor. I don't know if it would take a good tech 3 hours, but I wouldn't want to do it. Glad it was a simple fix for ya.
