Question need some advice .

I'M IN THE PROCESS OF PUTING A VOLARE/LEBARRON IFS INTO MY 50 MERC. JUST NEED TO KNOW HOW MUCH FRAME NEEDS TO BE NOCHED AND WHAT ANGLE TO SIT THE K MEMBER AT TO GET THE RIGHT RAKE ON IT. THANKS

There are templates and videos around for laying out a Volare install in these old trucks. Try sending a PM to GreatNorthWoods and ask him how he did it. He's done a Volare into a '50 Ford. Should be the same chassis as a Merc.

Bob's f-100 parts, Bob's F100 Parts and Restoration - (951) 681-1956 - 9372 Mission Blvd, Riverside, CA 92509, has been doing Volare installs for a very long time. I've read how to articles in one of the classic truck mags featuring his Volare installs and that had to be at least five years ago. Check him out. Hope that helps

Our very own John Niolon (we are not worthy) has a great article and great work on an install.
