o/t posting pictures

i am sure this has been covered but tried searching with not much luck. what are most of you all using for attaching photos, photobucket etc. pros cons to these websites. my new laptop has windows 7 and unlike xp i have not been able to resize pictures either so looking for a site that i can link to my pictures and be able to manage the size also. thanks for the help.

I'm happy with photobucket for hosting pics.

If you want nice (and free) image editing software try paint.net.

i want to try and figuere this out i have some projects i am going to start work on and would like to be able to share the pictures.

In the end it shouldn't matter who you have hosting them. You'll have a URL for the picture so you just have to know how to insert it in the forum.

The point and click way is to use the icon in the tool bar when creating a new post. It's the 4th one from the right that looks like a mountain with a yellow background and a stamp in the corner. It'll give you a pop up window that you enter the picture's URL into.

I am old school and just type the code out. You just use [ IMG ] pic URL here [ /IMG ] without the spaces.

i think most people use photobucket, just trying to get some feed back on host sites and features they offer,I tried using skydrive which is included with my msn email account. i try to limit the number of sites and passwords i use. thank you for the reply.

Grady, check out this link Resize a picture using Paint
You can resize a pic with the "paint" program on windows 7, I just tried it and it works.
