Yes. The truck starts in second if you put the selector there. That is a great thing for winter or mud use at times.

I don't know if it's the fan or not Lee. I thought that for a while but when I slow down or stop why is that the only time I hear the fan kick in? And why do my temps spike so bad going 70 mph?

Ok just a thought but do you always pull with the DP tuner? Maybe the tuner is changing the pressures or something? I know it does but maybe there is something screwed up in the programming. Maybe try pulling the tuner out and see what happens. Just a thought anyway...maybe I am way off base here too. Next I would try calling Brian I guess and see what he says.

I will probaly call Brian soon. Just to get some feedback. I wish it were an easy symptom to duplicate so I could have someone else give some live feedback. This did happen at least once before the DP Tuner so I don't see that being the cause.

Yeah calling Brian at this point would probably be your best shot. I didn't really think the tuner could cause this but thought I would throw it out there. I forgot...did you ever smell your trans fliud?

Lee, I'm good! Like I said, I can still get it up!!! Sounds like it was a good trip for ya! I hope you can make the August camping GTG!!! It's close by you anyhow!

Troy, I asked the tranny shop, and he said the strap wrench on the crank pulley makes it a breeze. I said, "It's still a stupid design!" He agreed...

Lee has a long box so this one won't work for him but it is a nice find!

He does? For some reason I thought it was short... Well, I'll look for long box ones then...

It's a bit better, but it's not right still. I'm gonna hook up pressure gauges and drive it. See what is happening. It's odd...

Hey Troy, how's it going tonight?

Yeah, I'm bummed about it. The guy at the tranny shop is gonna help me out some as well. Hopefully we can figure it all out!

It is going good tonight! So is there a builder like BTS for your tranny? I never hear of too much trouble with ones like yours but then I am not paying that much attention either.

I'm sure there is, but I've not looked. As far as I knew these transmissions have been bullet-proof...

That is what I thought...bullet proof!

Ok not to change the subject but do you ever get in used tires? I would like to find a set for my stock rims for the winter. Either 265 or 285 75/16's.
