My name is (was) a mistake. When I first signed on to FTE I mistakenly used an eBay login name. I have owned MGs / Triumphs for about 25 years and I have been a club president for British car clubs. My mother was from England, was in the British army and was a WWII war bride. I lived in England for the 78-79 and 81-82 school years and that is actually when I started taking interest in British cars.

 

Simple. It's the name of my business.

 

Mines pretty simple, also. Abe is my name. Full name is Abram, which was my grandfather's name, the one I bought my truck from.

Mine is purplewg. That is a Purple Harley Wide Glide I bought totaled and rebuilt from the ground up. I had it painted and the paint I picked was called Candy Purple. Yes, I still have it.

I have an '06 Dark Stone Metallic Expedition. So Stoned06 it was when I joined in '08.

 

I used to do Civil War living history events and because I am over 6'2" and 250 lbs. was chosen to carry the national colors. The C.O. Said we need a big strapping Irishman to carry the colors. I didn't have the heart to tell him I'm Italian.
