71 F250 Comes back from frame off in a couple weeks FINALLY!!
Just got back from last minute details with my body/paint guy, Jake at Unrestricted Auto Trends in Lake Elsinore.
The truck is almost ready for primer and then the 3 stage Candy Apple Red. The truck is being built for my daughter for her first truck. Well she took it a little extreme (like her pa LOL), went crazy color and lots of custom stuff will happen in the next 6 months.
Question: Where is the best place to locate/purchase front end parts, The truck sat for 15 years in a field. I need to rebuild/replace the entire front end. Ball joints, tie rods, calipers/brakes etc. Does NAPA carry all this stuff or is there a better way to go.
Are you keeping the front end drum brake or are you wanting to switch to disk brakes? I have complete beams, radius arms, rotors, calipers, etc. off a F-250 heavy duty (large 1" kingpins) if you wanted to update the front end.
I also have a power steering box sitting here too. In fact - I have a pretty complete front frame section...
I'm just a bit north of you in Orange County.

Didn't know the camper specials had disks, but either way I have the beams, disks, calipers, etc.
