Question on the 2010 Expedition 20" Wheels

I haven't been able to get a close look at the 20" "Chrome clad" wheels. Is the chrome just a cover over an alumium wheel? Is it removable? Thinking about Black Chrome wheels, not sure those can be re-chromed.. ?? thanks

It's a hub cap of sorts. Others can say whether you can remove it. It's chromed plastic and not worth the money unless it's already part of the model.

You can remove it and get the adhesive off, but the wheel does not look the same underneath the cover.

I have an 07 El Limited. Just the 18's but the " chrome clad" as they call it. I think you should look at your spare too if you are still checking out your new ride. Unless they changed something, your spare is a 17".

Just FYI and FMC being cheap, watch it if you tow.
