Has anyone gotten a quote from their local dealer to replace their cam phasers?

I have a 2004 screw with the ticking 5.4 and I would like to get the phaser replaced but I am hearing some awful prices.

I live in Southeast Indiana and travel from Indianapolis to Cincinnati to Louisville on a regular basis.

I love my truck but I am starting to get annoyed by the tick. If anyone can tell me where the best prices are for either the parts to do it my self; because I know the local part shops can't seem to be able to order the part. Or what kind of prices you guys are getting to replace the phasers would help me by not having to shop around as much.

The best I have found is around 189 a phaser (I could be mistaken and it may have been 169, I dont remember). But it was so much that I'll just live with the noise.

 

I just had both phasers changed in my 05 expedition. 975.00 labor only. Local ford house had no parts so I got 2 phaser kits for a total of about 400.00 I had already changed both vct solenoids at 75 a piece. cam sensors were 29 a piece.
