Les headlights

I'm sure is topic has been beaten to death

Can anyone point me in the right direction for led versus hid conversions for a 2016 super duty
Any preferences anyone has
And photos if possible

These stock headlights are just not cutting it

Cheers

I was expecting this thread to be in french based on your title 😆.... anyways all kidding aside check out Lifetime LED's. There is also a big thread/group buy going on for headlights/foglights if you go back a couple days.

Ahh yes I apologize
Typed from a tiny phone with large thumbs auto correct tired eyes and an eager post button

My search for led hid and headlights brought up everything but what I was looking for so thought I'd ask

I will check out that site

Yes I've come across those ones
Just wondering if anyone has tried them in the factory headlight bezels and do they have a noticeable difference in light output from stock
And what have people had the best luck with
Led or hid

From what I've read, the LEDs are extremely bright and light up very well right in front of you, but the light doesn't travel as far as standard halogens. Projector HID's are still way ahead of LED's. Quality Bi-xenon are the best, you will not have a delay when going from dim to high beam.

Here is my recent post on my led headlights in a reflector housing I really liked the way they looked and the 5000k color temp looked really clean in the truck it was just pure white no blueish tint at all the low beams are ok but really bright right in front of the truck high beams are useless.

Mine were the older version of their lights though. They are really bright right in front of the truck and it makes it hard to see down road because you want to focus on the bright spot. I recently just took my LED headlights out they just aren't where they need to be yet with the reflector headlights housings and I don't know how they work in projectors but I'd rather use hids in projectors anyway I know they work. And none of them are actually legal to use on the road even the ones like my lifetime led bulbs that said they were dot approved on their website but there is no dot number. Everyone that makes them has concentrated on making them so bright and not enough on the beam pattern. They are so bright in front of the truck and the down road and pretty much washed out for lack of a better term down road and the high beams are completely useless. And mine were positioned in the housings correctly which is very important and theywere aimed properly as well. There is another member on here with an 08 but his is an xl model and I think it's ge that makes a replacement for the sealed beam housing that is awesome. The best thing you can do is either have projectors retrofitted into stock headlight housings and use hids which need to be in a projector housing or just get some sliver star ultras or equivalent from ge or Phillips and just live with it till someone comes up with a better led solution.

You can read over this thread and see what you think. You just missed the Group Buy on the foglights.

Tony got some special pricing and has continued the Group Buy pricing through tomorrow. He also offers headlights, which is how this thread started originally.
