Wow, I sure would like to see the photo's of the progress. At least george posted his! At the rate Bill works, the truck should be done within a month or two! Although its your truck now, and you are free to do whatever with it, I hope you realize that George left you some big shoes to fill!

Pic 3....''Earl'' has the hood only on it, next to the meadow green 56.
This is a nice patina hood. I have to keep Earls heart out of the sun and bird droppings....LOL

Bill Thanks for keeping us updated. I haven't been on the site much lately due to work and other life demands. But I have to admit it is fun seeing the progress on Earl and I have been on the site much more lately. I joined the site when George was very active with Earl and I am glad to see Earl progressing and I am also glad it is staying in a good Buckeye's hands. All the trucks look great.

George all the best!

Just got the sandblast cabinet in place and set-up.....wow that will do a lot of blasting.
The compressor is a gas model and runs good.....I cannot wait to try it out.
Earls seat is cleaned and now going off to the upholstery shop and will keep it the tweed plastic with red skirting.
Pics soon

Earl has most all his panels ground and blasted and in primer.
I am trying to decide if THE FRAME and Engine need refinished before the cab gets set on?
The frame has signs of rust and the engine has paint flaking off.
I noticed no primer under the yellow engine paint.
