1956 F-250 Restoration Truck

Category: Drivetrain
Price: $0
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): CRX & pre '92 Civic
Item Condition: OH
Engine: Part suitable for gas truck

I have had a long and enjoyable activity restoring Earl, my 1956 F-250. My wife and I are moving to a much smaller place very soon, and there simply is no room to take Earl along. Those of you from the 1948-1960 FTE Forum will probably recognize Earl as I was active on that forum (and was a moderator there) for a number of years. A very complete description of the work done so far can be found here: Earl's World

I have a carefully and completely restored rolling chassis with drivetrain (including the totally rebuilt original 272 CID Y-block engine), front and rear fenders, 2 sets of usable running boards (pretty rare for the F-250), box sides and a couple of tailgates, 2 hoods, front inner fenders, 2 grilles, plus many other spare parts. Some of the body panels are probably not usable, but there is at least one complete body (minus the cab) that is restorable without tearing out all your hair.

I also have extensive documentation of all phases of the restoration. I have receipts for everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) bought for the restoration. I have over 1,000 photos showing disassembly, repair, and reassembly phases for each subsystem on the truck. I also have a shop manual, parts catalog, and a bunch of other literature for these Ford Trucks.

Everything is available FREE for anyone who will give Earl's parts a good home and is willing to pick up whatever they want in Ohio. Some parts are in Iowa but could be brought to Ohio. Other transportation arrangements are also possible. Please contact me at ghartman@woh.rr.com for details and arrangements.

I am making this offer because 1) I am out of time and must find homes for Earl's parts quickly, and 2) I would rather give the parts or truck away than see it go to the crusher.
