Fuel filter/Water separator

Does anyone have a source for the fuel filter water separator that is mounted next to the actual fuel filter on the 84 F250 6.9 IDI. I have it back ordered at Whitney's but its not available until AUGUST

seems like a nice time to delete that fws. Just get a filter that is a FWS/filter in one and put it on the filter header. Cant recall the wix part number but it is easy enough. Then you could use that location to rig in a coolant filter!!

I'm a great believer in the old idiom "If it ain't broke why fix it?" That unit already is a dual unit but I like the extra 6 micron filter because it will keep my IP nice and clean

i would just take it in if possible and if the threads match and the gasket matches, it will work. Best bet is calling a parts store, but i am sure someone will pipe up that has one. Can you cross reference the number on the existing one with an online site like wix or racor?

Fram PCS5062 or Napa Gold 3405. They both have 1"-14 threads as does the Perma Cool 81000. Hope that helps, there are a few places online that sell the permacool but price with shipping might not beat the napa or fram from a local parts store. <!-- google_ad_section_end --><!-- / message -->
