So what plans does everyone have?

 

Sticking around Abilene to soak up the festivities. May attempt to blow a few holes in the yard with sparkler bombs

 

as usual I am on call. reckon I will go to Wamego to the festivities over there. Seems to be just about the best fire works show in the area, you can get your fill of fireworks for the whole year in that hour.

 

Wamego has a great parade and lots of stuff-- they really do up the 4th.

 

Carnival in town and everything in Wamego on the 4th. We are planning on being there for the 4th. Also our daughter from Michigan and her family are planning to come back too. Should be a good time with lots of food and probably some home made ice cream.

 

My kids will be here next week...I imagine that we'll do Bonner Springs on the fourth, with some various barbecue at a friends house.

 

Ben hates the fire works. So I'll just hang out with him inside. Maybe cook some burgers an brats. Tater salad an beans would be nice. Sip a bit of bourbon and maybe even burn a ceeeegar. Fireworks can be seen out my front porch.

 

i am heading to vegas to watch the ufc lesner carver fight live. then do a little gamblin and screwin off. gonna cause some anarchy while there. the usual

 

Fireworks stands are up all over, so the noise will start.

 

Tents have been up selling since sunday down this way. Folks been settin um off since then. Ben's had trouble most nights with the noise.

 

Going up to Cortland NE. Lots of firearms, fireworks, food, a live band. Oh, and some cold beverages.

 

The wife and I are headed over to her mothers house for a family BBQ.

 

Working probably will set up camp at the propane pump.

Chad, are you thinking of Courtland Ks? or Courtland Neb? I only ask because I don't know where courtland Neb is, but do know where Courtland ks is.
