67 Ford F250 Tranny Question

67 Ford F250 Tranny Question

Hopen someone can help me out!!!! I have a 67 ford f250 i just mounted 02 superduty axles under it. The u joints are 1410 series so i got yokes for all three spots on transfercase. But i can not find a 1410 series yoke for my transmission i have the manuel 4 speed not sure of the name does any one know where i can get on for the tranny or something that will work??? thanks if need any more detais please let me know THANKS

I think you can get some u-joints made to work. I don't think they are too pricey.

The tranny should be an NP435 (aluminum top) or a Borg Warner T18 (cast iron top). Most NP435's have reverse to the right and down, most T18's are reverse to the top and up. Don't know if that helps.

Jodaddy you know where i can get u-joints and are they 1350 and 1410 all in one???

Spicer makes some conversion joints but I don't think they do any for 1410. You could call them. Could you just use the 1350 yoke on the tranny input for the intermediate shaft.

neapco.com They call it a 1435 or something.

i guess i could use the 1350 on intermidiate shaft.. thanks for the info!!!!
