Lynn and I drove through a nice campground right on the Mississippi in Monticello where we can get a bunch of sight together. It is caller River Terrace

River Terrace Park, MN

They don't have their own website and is a pretty low key place but seems pretty clean and all the spots are full hook up because I know hooking up the sewer hose is important for Tom. It says they have a pool but it is really no longer in use. All the spots are a paved surface for parking the camper on. Well shaded also.

I will scan a copy of the campground map and brochure at work tomorrow and post it. I will also indicate the group of spots that we thought looked the best. This is all assuming that this is to everyone elses approval of course

 

Sounds like a good place to me. The time works for me too.

 

Nice find Jay!! Looks like a decent place! Do they have any openings that weekend? I am assuming so since you posted this but I thought I would ask.

 

The guy mostly rents sites by the week and month to people working in the area but he always keeps some sites open for weekend use and at this time he has about 20 sites open. All we have to do is call and reserve the sites. He does not even ask for a deposit.

 

Sweet, that is nice that he doesn't require a deposit!

That works. Thanks Troy. In the first pdf the sites by those three trees are about where we are looking. Maybe just to the left out of the picture. It is straight up from the boat ramp

Edit: If you can look at the map it is the circle sites like 93, 94, 100, 101. That area

The guy is super laid back on rules it seems so I would say yes on the wood
