Wondering if anyone could help. 5.0 180,000. When I start it in the morning it keeps dying and check engine light comes on. When I get it going on the road it wants to cut off when I try to accelerate. But when i let off the accelerator it comes back and have to ease back into it. Am now thinking it is the throttle position sensor. Any ideas? Tried the idle air sensor but no luck, put the old one back on. Thanks.

Before doing anything you need to know what the Computer is trying to tell you.
You need to run the KOEO Self-Test and see if you have any codes.
And then when you get those codes fixed you need to run the KOER Self-Test and see if the solenoids and other items are working OK.
If you do not know how to run the Self-Test then go to this site or buy a code reader for under $30.00.

Its your check valve. Your not getting enough fuel to crank it. my dads truck is doing the same thing. we just found out it was the fuel check valve. Theres your good news....the bad news is its a dealer item so you better bend over and spell run.
