Can't decide whether to remove all of the riveted moulding clips or just leave them on when i remove all of the trim. I am not looking forward replacing all of the trim clips after the truck is sprayed.
Is it possible to reuse the clips that are still in good condition? Al

 

I re-used most of my clips. As long as they are in good shape...why not? Your truck will be much nicer if you remove all of the molding before paint.

 

How did you go about removing the side moulding. I know that they usually have bolts on towards the end of the pieces, but what is the best way to pop them off of the clips without damaging the trim. And also, how do you separate the trim from the spring clips? Thanks Al

 

Pretty sure the side moldings will slide off.
