Question WTB: Ford F150 8.8 w/3.54 gears

my 8.8,the pin that goes through the carrier,has broke the stop bolt and has turned and cannot get the pin out to change the axle bearings and seals.Mine has 3.54 gears and is a posi

the 8.8 makes a loud noise up to around 40 mph then after that cannot hear any noise,will heating the carrier up with a torch do any damage to the carrier?

i was going to change the axle bearings and seals until i saw the pin had turned

excessive heating can damage the unit..... I have a couple complete rearends but will need to see what they are, if you want to replace.
