1994 F150 Body lift question

Hey i have a 1994 F150 with a 302ci and 4wd. i want to buy a 3 inch body lift to give me more clearance and to put bigger tires on. What im worried about is what else rather than the steering column that i have to worry about like the water pump or brake lines. Anyone have any pointers, or information i would need to know i would greatly appreciate your help. Thanks

I used to use Performance Accessories kits just because of this. You will need to lower the radiator fan shroud, the parking brake cable bracket, and something else I'm forgetting. Then on occasion the shifters will need to be lengthened.

You'll spend a little more money, but you can get lifted coil springs from companies like trailmaster for the front and do blocks in the rear. There should be less of the tedious work involved though.

if your truck is a manual or you have a 4x4 stick, you will need extentions for those.

Who's making 5"? PA only used to do 2" and 3" kits. The closest I've seen to a 4" kit was a friend of mine used 4x4 post. It was ~4" when it was dry and 4.25" when the humidity was up.
