POR 15

Okay I read through all the posts in the Read First threads but didn't see anything discussing paint compatibility ( or not ) with POR 15

I am going to use this for my rust issues.

Are there any issues I need to be concerned with regarding different painting combinations (BC/CC, SS ) ( Enamel vs Acrylic ) and POR 15?

Is there a certain process that is better

ie.. Steps:
POR 15
etching
primer
paint

?????

I guess I am looking mostly for the " don'ts "

I want to take this one step at a time and my first perogative is to arrest the rust. Just don't want to find out later that using the POR 15 is going to be a problem come paint time.

Best advise I can give you is give them a call: POR15, Inc. - Stop Rust Permanently - Repair Gas & Fuel Tanks I know they have their own primer to use as a tie coat, but the majority of people use only for frame, undercarriage, fender wells, truck beds etc. Due to the nature of the product it's usually not used for high gloss applications. Not saying it can't be done, I'd just talk to them directly.
