I am toatlly new to the site, new to the diesel trucks, and new to the 3/4 ton trucks.... I have owned a few Fords to include a 1994 Lightning (which is still in the family), 2001 Ford Ranger (long ago traded away), and a 2004 Ford Ranger (currently for sale).
I bought the new F250 for towing and hauling the family..... I took the family out for a weekend of off-roading in the Suzuki Samurai and they loved it but we were disconnected from the group as we didn't have a camper/toy hauler, we had to stay a few miles away in a local motel... So we are now planning on buying a toy hauler, some day in the future, and needed a truck to tow it...... thus the purchase of the F250 the next weekend after we got back.
I went into the dealer looking for a 2010 F250 XLT but they were sold out of them.... I made the mistake of test driving the 2011 F250 and I had to tell them it was just too much money but after crunching the numbers they hooked me up and got me close to the deal I was looking for, but on the 2011 F250 Lariat.
