can any one help me out as to why my propane "cheater hose" wont let any fuel into my tank. it was a pain in the ass finding the cheater hose and now my trucks still sitting in spot of my yard that i cant really get anything to pull it out with and its out of fuel and i gotta moce that dirty S.O.B.
You need to turn your 20lb tank upside down so the liquid will flow through. If you have a newer style tank with the saftey shut off it might close off the flow when you turn it upside down. It will be a fairly slow process since it needs a higher pressure in your little tank to force the liquid into your vehicle tank.
OPDs do hold the valve closed when inverted (which is also why they should be transported in the upright position, so the bottle can vent if overpressure occurs).
A cheater to fit the liquid line off a forklift cylinder would do the job if that is an option.
