Supercab with 300 & Short bed?

Does this truck exist? Show me some pics..
I'd like to upgrade from my ratty 81 f150 sometime and wanting something with a solid front axle (and i think the 70s trucks look a little better than the bullnoses...shh dont tell the guys in the other forum)

Don't have a picture, but...

My son went to high school with a fellow that drove a '74-'79 short bed Super Cab. Not sure of the engine though.
The truck was a white F-100/150 2wd. Nothing special to look at, other than a decent, clean truck.

This was 20+ years ago and I haven't seen the truck for at least 10-15 years.

This, Ford did not produce a '73 - '79 Supercab shortbed 4x4. Only supercab longbeds were available in 4x4, and they used a leaf sprung, 5 lug dana 44, unlike the coil sprung 44 in all other f150's and Broncos.

This is a 1978/79 F150 Super Cab, since it has 5 lug wheels and leaf spring front suspension.

Super Cabs were introduced in 1974.
