It means that it ain't no BB or G or E Lol, the difference supposedly is in the pop-pressure, also G-codes are considered "emissions" injectors as their nozzles sit slightly higher up in the chambers which apparently is not optimal for performance but somehow help lower emissions?
I know what Gs and Es are for, but what about BBs, Ds and any other they may have made?
Both me and Joe have BBs in our trucks, and I have Ds on the shelf.
You know what E-code injectors are for? What's their purpose? Emissions? That's what's in my IDI. I bought a set of BB-code injectors and they're waiting to be installed. I'm not sure about D-code.
BBs are very popular for turbo engines too, at least among those folks who actually care to replace their injectors when needed. I know they can be shimmed for different pop-pressure, Dyoung (the guy with the 4400 rpm engine) has a set adjusted at 2200psi IIRC, so maybe the codes are just a designation for distinguishing the different pop-pressures at the factory? Well with the exception of the E-codes cause of their different fitment.

Could be just the injectors are tired, regardless of what code they are...
