'69 C752(COE) air brakes
Hi; I have a '69 COE Wrecker that is missing the air brake compressor. It has a gas engine(361cid) and slanted bracket on the passenger side of the engine where the belt driven air compressor attaches. Does any one have any information about what make and model air compressor was on this truck?

compressor
Maybe a typo error but if original it should have a 391 cid. slant mount.
I have several trucks with that arangement. Last compressor I bought
was at local Napa. Their big air brake book even shows a photo of it, but
the big problem is that is doesnt come with the pulley which shouldnt be
a problem, most Bendex comp. have the same shaft size.

Thanks, rbaker6336 and big job. I think both are you are right. I did make a typo and changed the engine size to 361 as noted in the shop manual but it may actually be a 391.
I found a manual on Bendix compressors that indicates a tu-flo 500 would be appropriate for the size of this truck. I also found a recommendation from another site that indicated that NAPA should carry the starter for this engine that I also need so I will check with them about the compressor too.
