Thumbs down Radio Illumination Problem

I have a CD Head Unit, it does not display the time or radio station I am on or anything. I looked into the radio and it doesnt have bulbs it is digital. Sometimes it works and most of the time it doesnt, (like my wife). Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it. What do I do next? Let me know, thanks.

Radio Illumination Problem

Typical...

Thermal intermittent :-(

If you check out the price to have the display fixed it will probably be cheaper to get a new unit installed. -one with MP3 capabilities maybe! -hehe

The site has detailed pictures of the whole process to fix your display and also details on different scenerios you may run into while doing the repair. It worked for me.<p>
