Best price/quality for '05 F350 Ball joints?
Hey all, thanks for any help here. I have a 2005 F350 DRW 4x4 CC. I need to replace ball joints. I did a search and there is a ton of helpful info on how to do it. What I can't seem to find is the best brand, and/or, who has the best pricing.
Seems Moog and Dynatrac are getting good reviews. When I went to dynatrac's website, I couldn't seem to find just balljoints. My mechanic friend said some Moogs were too tight, and he also recommended Spicer.
there is another seller that has a kit for up to '04, with Moogs, seals, etc.. for $320. But it doesn't seem like they are for an '05!!
So which ball joint is the best value for the money, will last the longest, and where can i get it for the best price?!
THANKS!!

dynatrac got back to me....$600 JUST for the ball joints, no seals. I think I'll look for the Moog special that was something like $320 with all the seals. unless someone here can steer me to something better.
ya, I hear ya on the cheap stuff. i looked on ebay and there are a few advertising 1 year warranty, and I can get all 4 for $40. I know they generally have a plastic sleeve instead of metal used on good ones. And the cheap ones wear out too fast. The warranty sounds great EXCEPT you still have to spend a full day doing another re&re, pay shipping, and go thru the hassle of them saying nothing is wrong!
I will splurge for quality in this case, mostly because of all the work involved.
