All FORD nationals

All FORD nationals
I went to the all Ford nationals in Carlisle Pa on Saturday, and thought I would share a few of the pictures I took while there. Some dents, some bumps, and a few other points of intrest.
Now some dents:
I don't remember seeing a dent with this paint style before, a bronco yes, but not a dent.
Then there were eight Starsky & Hutch there ALL with 460 4V, some didn't have the right wheels but most did.
This guy had it all, even the trunk was autographed by all three, remember Huggie bear?
A little Barney Fife
This car was neat, it is a 1963 and was bought new by a lady named Mary in California, and sold it in 1993 due to health reasons, it has 69,000 original miles.
It was a nice show especially if you are a Mustang nut! Well, I hope you enjoyed the pictures, I didn't get a picture of all the dents there, got most of them, I saw a stack of beds and cabs (73-79) which I am starting to see more and more of at shows.

Great pics. Those were some really nice lookin bumps. The first dent was in the True Blue Trucks magazine.
That one pic that had the two dents in it, were they originals or work in progress? I really like to see those.
How come there aint a pic of your truck settin out there with the rest of them?

Your right, he had a copy of that mag on the driver's side windshield.
Not sure about those two dents, I didn't talk with the owners.
I often think about it, but sometimes I look at it and think its just a beat up old farm truck, but I did take a picture of it yesterday. You know how it is, you are your own worst critic
Anyhow here it is, kind of looks like the picture I took last Monday, it is back in the same position I guess.
PS: Thats the neighbor's house in the back ground, a little close for me, but they are real nice people, and don't bother me any, and I try to do the same for them.

Your SO right, my feet were B-E-A-T! When I was a kid my brother and I would walk around there four times or so in a day and never skipped a beat, but those days are long gone.
It was a great time, and plenty there to see, I bet there was at least 30-50 yellow mustangs all together. I saw them a few years back at someone house, it must be a yellow stang club.

I would take that truck to a show in a heartbeat, shes still on the road and gettin used instead of being held captive to nice shiny floors and climate controlled storage buildings.

Thats neat, do you know where that picture was taken? And yes you can right click on any of the pictures I post, actually anyone can as far as I care.
I think I liked the first truck the best, the yellow/green bumpside, that truck looked like it just rolled off of the assembly line, there were three of them setting in that building, and all three had the explorer package.
There was another one that I couldn't get a pictuere of due to all the people looking at it.
I also wanted to get a picture of that load of beds and cabs, there was one bed the paint was about ALL gone and you could see the faint explorer stripes (1977), it has surface rust and a the tailgate was on, they wanted $1300 for it.
The next show I will be going to there is the all truck nationals, the Pa chapter of FTE will be there, I am still debating if I want to take my truck in, I thought it would be fun to do, and take a few days off of work, and drive it in early in the morning and spend three days there August 6-8.
Most of the members are from Pa & De, and a few Ca members.
Here is another one:
PS: I just love the car show atmosphere!

Post them up brother!
I am still debating on taking mine to the all truck nationals, it is usually smokin hot here in August, and 100% humidity, or severe thunder storms in the afternoon. I love the shows, but not sure if three days it might get a little old.

I was there too. Those '70 Explorers were sweet. If I remember correctly, the one that is not pictured had 31k on it, the blue one had 22 miles on it, and the green-yellow one had 360 miles. In the building with the Cobra-Jet Mustangs in it, there was a '76 F-100 with 1200 miles. I've got some show pics too, mind if I post them up there?
