Galaxie641, when you say " if you have the 5.4L it is going to be pretty doggy", do you mean it is going to pull slugishly or it will pull it with no problem?
I also can't seem to find out how to turn the interior lights off when I have the doors open. I was camping in it the other night and wanted to open the doors to get a good cross breeze, but the interior lights do not have a switch on them to turn them off. Am I missing something?
It was so nice to stretch completely out in the back seat and sleep without being cramped. Who knew a crew cab had so much room in the back seat.
I think I might be a Ford Truck man for sure now.

JetPilot, Yes they ride a little rough but for about $150 you can throw in some Rancho shocks and it makes all the difference in the world. The F150 is a car with a bed. As for the 5.4L I have that one in my F250... grant it it has high mileage (150,00 apx) but I am having serious problems with over heating when trying to haul any amount of weight. At first I thought it was the radiator so I replaced it, Nada, then I though maybe a computer problem so I dropped 2k on that... eghhh nope. Now my mechanic tell sme its the water pump. Who knows but none the less I have to say I can't stand the 5.4L in a F250... its like having a Desert Eagle with .22cal bullets. I dont know my gear size so that could be an issue but idk. As for gas mileage xP forget about it lol. Also Im in S.E. Florida... my truck was deff a a northern truck as well... my frame has signs of being driven on salted roads... anyways hopes it helps. Good Luck

F-150
I'm VERY happy with my purchase, as I stated earlier; it pulls my load with no problems. I even got a 4/48 Ford ESP last week.
I'm getting very good mileage (better than I expected), so I'm very happy about that. I haven't done any "long hauling" yet, so I don't know how my mileage is in that department.
Thank for all the advice.
