94' Horn doesnt work

I have a 94 F150 XLT. Basically horn doesnt work, not to worried about it, Ive been too lazy to fix it since i got it, havent really bothered with it at all, but im on here and was bored so i thought i would ask if anyone had anything they could tell me to fix it, so whenever i get around to it on a lazy day i could go do it for something to do.

I don't know for sure if there's a fuse for the horn or not, but give the panel a check and see.

It's also possible the connections inside the steering wheel are loose or corroded- or the horn unit is bad.

check for voltage at the horn itself...then check the fuse... then pull the steering will apart and check the connections. You could even measure resistance/continunity between the start and end of the wire id imagine then youd know if theres a wiring problem for sure id think. If a fuse is blown theres usually something wrong thats blowing them, its a simple fix but id rather not find blown fuses cause it means something worse lol most the time

Another thing to check it so see if you are getting power to the horn itself. Use a voltmeter or test light and have someone push the button while you check. One time mine sounded like a little car, because only the hi pitch horn was working. I cleaned the connector on both horns and then both hi and low horns were working again. Its been fine for a few years since then.

Have you tried both buttons. It could be that one is bad.

The horns are real close to the battery - I found my horn wires insulation a bit deteriorated from battery acid. So they could be corroded away there or insulation deteriorated and shorting out.
