I pulled this code with my AE software "B1869 - Lamp Air Bag Warning Indicator Circuit Open" It sounds pretty self explanatory. I am assuming the bulb for the Air Bag Warning Light is either burn out or missing. I'm wondering If I would be getting other codes with the Air bag system was faulty?

 

The bulb should light everytime you start the truck. I had an airbag problem with my daughters escape recently when she had a front ender and the bags didn't pop. Thank goodness it wasn't a hard impact although the bags going off would have probably totaled the vehicle with basically minor damage to the vehicle itself. My research showed that you can get a code for a burnt out light bulb. It might possibly disable the whole airbag system although I'm not sure about that.
