The Truck is driveable, I wouldnt be able to sell it if I wanted to, so thats fine.....just things I need to do.

The crappy thing is that I live in an Apt...so no Garage.....I need some assistance from the amateur experts or the retired ones.

Kalamazoo needs help

No not yet..........But right now IM in a mess with something else....I just rebulit the carb...went together great....stuck it on the truck.....started after about 5min and a battery jump. But going down the road it would die when I stepped on the gas to run it through....when I let off the acclerator...the engine would start again......pinpointed the accelerator pump and found the rocker not working.....pulled the carb again R-squared the diaphram once more.....5 seconds after the carb was running...... accelerator pump froze up again....Im stumped.

I noticed you have posted a couple questions in the fuel systems forum. I would post the symptoms you describe above in that forum. they can figure it out im sure.

Kalamazoo needs help

It would probably be easier to just buy a new or rebuilt carb. I am having the problem with my carb cutting out when the lead is dropped on the pedal.

Here's the deal...Get up this morning, buy a gallon of gas. Start my bronco up....found fuel pump working quite well. Hooked up to carb....started up fine. Test drive....worked great. Last night I used some compressed air and blew out my accelerator pump BB and must have un-stuck it......I never thought it would have worked but it did. Now my curb Idle is the problem.....running about 250rpm too much.....but Im not complaining just yet.

Thanks for your posts.
