Replacing Brake Booster Check Valve

Replacing Brake Booster Check Valve
The BIG check valve mounted in the corner of my brake booster is beginning to crack. Will there be a problem replacing this check valve? I remember when I bought the re-manufactured booster from NAPA, there was a big red tag taped around the check valve that said something to the effect of "Warranty Void if Valve is Removed." Do I have anything to worry about, or is this is a simple replacement? Any tricks to removing this valve that I should know about?
I also noticed that my brake booster hose to the vacuum tree has a (rusty) worm hose clamp on it at the check valve. Is this hose clamp really necessary?

No problem in replacing it, the warranty thing is to make sure some window licker doesn't pull it out and stick something else in there damaging the diaphram. It just pulls out, replacements should be available at any parts store in the "HELP" section. As for the clamp, as long as it is a tight fit, it should not be needed. mine is OE and has no clamp on it, also a worm type clamp on a Ford of this era is definately an aftermarket add-on.
