Anyone ever have luck with reman injectors? I hear they only last for a few months. Same Q. for their pump rebuilding

How much better are the typ4 ones than just new BB's to boot, I know their matched but how bad could new ones be?

man just pay the 175 for the set of 8 new injectors. I am going to do that next time. If they are new, delphi reps state that all of their injectors are within 75 psi but who knows!

I have heard more like 150 pounds, for the extra hundred bucks personally I would go with the matched ones. The closer they are the better they are for mileage and performance.

I wouldn't even consider the rebuilt ones for the difference in price of new ones.

I would also opt to pay a little more for either completely new injectors or matched injectors. Pensacola diesel has been known on the other forum and while some had good experiences others didn't. I don't think they are a rip off but it seems to be a get what you pay for situation.

As far as I know however, they do have the cheapest price on the net for rebuilt pumps with warranty.

you often get what you pay for.
but remember if your short on funds and dont have any other means, rebuilt injectors and a standard rebuilt pump sure beats old and worn out with 200k+.
so if its all you can afford and it makes the difference if you keep them fresh or not, then go for it i say.
in this case new injectors to used is $66.that may be a larger price gap to some folks.
besides this,iv always heard rebuilt injectors can perform just fine too.
personally i do agree since the IDI parts are so low cost comparatively, and with fuel prices it likely pays to buy new.i'll be going new (im not that particular to have them matched myself though) when i hit 100k.
haven't made up my mind with the ip though (the baby moose is to rich for my blood sadly. although id like to have it. )

Pensacola probably has as good a price as anybody for new ones or rebuilt ones too.
The last I knew russ was getting 290 for a matched set (new) with a return line kit with viton orings.

I doubt I will ever have the money for the moose misters, but I am definitely going with a moose pump when the time comes...or I'm really bored and have money burning a hole in my pocket.
