My 2006 Roush F150 *pics*

Here are some pics of my truck. Stock, it looked EXACTLY like the project truck on this site, but these pics are after I dropped the rear 2 inches, installed Harley headlights, and took off the wing and side stripes. Only problem is that it rained this morning, so the truck is a mess.

Next up are new wheels and tires (or just new tires), drop it some more, and a whipple!!!

While I think is a very sharp truck, something doesn't seem right.

I don't see someone paying for the expensive side stripes and wing options and then take them off, and your truck shows a cap on the tail-gate, which wouldn't be there if you took the spoiler off. Those two options are about $1200 and the truck can be purchased without them. Removing them would devalue a Roush truck even more than that amount. Can you post your Roush window sticker?

Here are the exterior differences:

The project truck has the Roush stripping kit on the sides.
The project truck is an FX4.
The project truck has a rear spoiler.
The project truck has the Roush suspension package installed.
The project truck has factory door keypad lock on the driver's side.
The project truck doesn't have the standard tires Roush supplies with these trucks. It has Coopers.

So what are you saying? You don't believe me? lol, I have a roush serial number and a pic of the Roush window sticker. here it is:

As for the spoiler, I bought the truck off of the lot. I didn't order it custom. I never liked the spoiler, so I finally took it off and put the stock plastic on, and I think it looks much better. It was just a little too tacky IMO, but if you like it, that's all that matters.

1. I almost had to take the side striping kit off after I was backed into in a parking lot. But after taking it off, I like the look better. At least for now. I could always get it put back on.
2. This truck is an FX4 also, but I took the FX4 sticker off because it said off-road. I just didn't see a point in a roush truck have "offroad" written on it.
3. Look above
4. This has the Roush Suspension also...
5. This has that also...

I'm not gonna lie about it.

It just seemed fishy. Okay thanks for clarifying, I understand now.

I couldn't see why anyone would lower the value of a Roush truck by taking off the decals and the spoiler. The truck looks like the trucks you see all over where some guy just slaps a hood scoop on his F150 when you take off the spoiler and the side decals. I think the appearance is what sets the Roush apart, and you've taking off distinguishing items. Just doesn't seem normal.

Question, since the truck's suspension package was already lowered 3/2, why swap it out for another brand? Or did you lower the rear another 2 inches (wouldn't it not sit level then?)? I'm not sure I understand....

So far no problems with being backed into here... I only park way out in the lots where there are plenty of spots, and take two spots. Call me a jerk for that if you want, but I'm not getting my truck scratched by some moron in a parking lot!

The 145HP Roushcharger gets installed on the 14th... I can't wait.

I doubt the actual resale value of the truck went down after those were removed.

As for the suspension, the Roush suspension lowers the truck 2" in the front, and 3" in the back, and is an entire suspension package, including Bilstein shocks and swaybars. All I did was drop the back another 2" with srop shackles. The rear of the truck sits about 1/4" higher then the front now, which is basically level. It looks better IMO. Also, believe it or not, I got a flat this morning, so new tires are coming very soon. I'm going to get something more street looking.

BTW, I'm installing a supercharger also, but I'm going with the Whipple because it has a little more power then the Roush. Plus, I would install it myself, so the Roush wouldn't have the warranty anyway.

Owner of Legends Edition Roush F-150

Hi all. I'm new to this, but am excited to here all the Roush threads. I own a Legends Edition, F-150 Supercrew, Stage 3. It's 1 of 6 built for Mark Martins' Ford dealership. Mine is 3 of 6. Mark says he is going to keep # 6 for himself at the dealership. The truck is like the one that has pics that removed part of the trim, as far as the type of truck. Mine has everything as his did but has a special color of stripes. All of the striping and Roush decals are a dark green. Mark Martin autographed the dash and under the hood. Also, Carl Edwards was there the day I bought it and he autographed it under the hood along side Marks' signature. I'm going to try to attach some pics. It's my first time to do this, hope I can get it to work. I like the pics of the other truck but like the side striping and spoiler on better. MAN DO THESE TRUCKS RUN, 445 HP.

You have to host them on a place like photobucket.com. Then, after you upload them onto there, you put the url of the picture and put it in your reply. Then put around the url. For example, \

If you don't understand, just e-mail me the pictures at jec1521@gmail.com

I'll do it for you.
