VBS is officially over, well at least this week of VBS is over...Leave for Costa Rica in 2.5 days...sounds odd, but we will busy, but will be very relaxing!
As an update the kids raised $770+ dollars for Missions (107 lbs of change)...we have a 6' Tetter-Totter Scale that we weigh the offerings each day...sorda like a change drive, but we accept cash, checks, coins...we do boys against girls, amount and weight...boys won in weight 54 lbs, girls had 53lbs; girls won in amount $453.74 boys raised $314.34. Money raised will be taken to Costa Rica to purchase material to build pews for a couple of the churches we are working with, as well as our trip in July to Ecuador to provide snacks and refreshments for our VBS we are doing there! Loads of FUN!!!

Also talked to one of my parent's neighbors tonight...he has a 1978 F100 Custom (Maybe it's an Explorer?) anyway it is a SWB, 2WD, AUTO on the column...has a newer Engine (50,000 miles on it) as well as a new Transmission...it has a 302 with a C6...he said it had a BIG cam in it, whatever that means...dual exhaust with FlowMasters...Interior is in Average to Pretty good condition. Used it for work, been sitting for about 8-10 months...best of my knowledge it still retains majority of original parts, i.e. hubs, trim, etc...Has typical surface rust, faded paint, general ware for sitting out in the weather...he is asking $700-$800...deal or no deal? If I were to pick it up, I would probably rebuild it to factory condition (minus the engine), it was changed from original to the current 302...
