Who will be effected by the oil? So far the oil has not come this far west. I live in Grand Lake, 20 or so miles south of Lake Charles. We are still fishing down here, but I'm sure they will close us down soon.

I have many friends who are out of work now that drilling has been halted. One spill in all the yrs of drilling. Its no reason to stop drilling. China & Mexico are both drilling in the Gulf. I bet they haven't quit drilling

Right now I am glad that I am working on land. I used to work in the gulf.

I bet BP is wishing that Red Adair was still alive.

I heard that Robert.
I used to get to toy around in Red's boats. That was quite a while ago.

Mike aka (Fordpride) told me it changed his vacation plans to Gulf Shores.
This thing sure is costing the coast tourism dollars and more.

I'm a diver offshore and there is work going on for us west of Fourchon but I don't know how long it will last since every swinging dick is doing everything there is to do over there until we can go back to diving everywhere.

It's not affecting my working, but it is affecting our vacation. We usually go to Destin the third week of July every year. I don't know if the oil is gonna hold off long enough for us to make this year. I know they are having some tar ***** wash up down there now.

He did not fill the hole in the border of mexico
He did not fill the hole in the economy

The whole things a big flop.

Sorry I digress, please excuse me.

Just about had enough of the new politics in our country.
