I just bought a 1979 ford f150 4x4 custom. I drove it a few times ran great. I pulled it into the driveway and it shut off the gas gauge was low. I figured it just ran out of gas. I put 2 gallons in and some on the carb 2 barrel motorcraft. The 302 runs for a second with gas put right into the carb. I replaced both the fuel pump and fuel filter. Still nothing there 2 hoses that run to the fuel pump one rubber the other screws in the back. When I took off the pump gas came out the rubber one when I took it off or when it got pointed down. So I know gas is making to the pump. After that I don't know why gas isn't making to the carb. There not much left there what could it be i'm stuck fellas thanks

 

How about fuel between pump & card. This will determine if pumps bad!

 

i think there is a filter on the manul fuel pumps in a aluminum houseing . the houseing screws apart and its like a screen inside

 

I already replaced the pump and filter the truck had Bern sitting for years what the owner before me told me. I don't get why gas isn't getting from the pump to the carb??
