New flywheel arrived scratched... ok to use?

The World's Slowest Clutch Job continues... but any progress at all is thanks entirely to this board!

I received my shiny new Valair clutch kit late yesterday. Opened it today, and the ziplock bag of bolts with the flywheel broke open during shipping. The flywheel is scratched in 2-3 places... nothing -horrible- (~0.5-1" long, deep enough to notice, but hard to take a pic of) but since the instructions call out a 0.0020" precision requirement, I'm worried.

It's ok to go ahead and use, right? Or do they need to be -perfect- when installed?

I emailed the helpful folks at Valair, but since it's a holiday weekend, I don't expect to hear anything back. Anybody have any thoughts?

Bad pic from crap camera of one of the scratches, but it'll give an idea...

Here's hoping everyone's weekend is going well.. and that we all take a minute to remember why it's a holiday....

Your most likely okay.

Scratches are diff then gouges.

if there is some metal tore up above the surface, then it will damage the clutch, if its just below the surface scratch, i dont see it hurting anything.

I would call and ask anyways.

Like said above, the clutch won't even touch that part of the flywheel and those are pretty small imperfections rather than scratches. I'd run it with out thinking twice about it.
