continuous memory codes

Will the continuous memory codes set off the check engine light if there are alot of them in there?

The problem that caused the CM code could turn on the CEL, depending on the code. Something like the power steering pressure switch would not turn on the light, but a code for an emissions related component should turn on the light.

Just one is enough, depending.
