NEED DRIVESHAFT ADVICE

Hello everybody, im new on here and wasent sure if this has been adressed before but i have a few questions. I'm restoring a 79 Ford f250 from the frame up to be a bogger, and im at the point to put the lift. The truck is on 39.5 boggers right now with a 6inch suspension lift, and already the driveshafts are extended near the limit to slip out. I am ordering 14 inch lift custom leafsprings from customsuspension.com

I know you can get custom shafts made but i was wondering if there was a way to do some modifications yourself to extend the shafts. this is my first time lifting a truck this much and if anyone has done a suspension lift this big on these trucks and could give me some details on what modifications or special work they had to get done, things to watch out for and anything i should know. My biggest concern was the driveshafts and making the drivetrain work with the drastic angles. If anybody can shed some light on the subject or share some experience on previous work they've done on this sort of project itd be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance everyone

Why 14" ? Even 44's don't need that much lift. There is no cheep way out with that much lift. You will need a steep angle CV for the front shaft. You (might) be able get away with a one ton CV in the rear. Your shafts will have to be custom made. Probably would be a good time to upgrade to the big U joints where needed, maby even new slip yokes, U joints, tubing and yokes. I would budget at least around $1500 for them, maby more. It's been a while but I think I had around $800 in my rear shaft to do 10" of lift. One other thing, you are going to have to rework your trans cross member for the front shafts new angle.
