Do you need a coolant additive? If you're overheating or running hot all the time, there is a problem you need to address, not try and cover it up with additives.

I asked if you needed it. You could have simply said, I live in a very hot environment and could use a little help to cool it off a bit more. Yes I have used a surface tension reducer in my motorcycles because you can't run coolant on the track. It works.

you could of just not answered the question, seeing as you dont know anything about the product. it seems to me to be a very simple question, any one use it and did it work, thats all, yes, no. not = if you have a heating problem you should mask it up with a additive. you assumed.

Calm down. It was a simple question.

I've seen them work before. What brand are you planning on using?

You're assuming I don't know anything about the product. It's a surface tension reducer, same as water wetter. It will help with heat transfer. It prevents air pockets from forming on the walls of the coolant passages.

i saw a report about the comparisons between it and water wetter, plus a few others. the only thing i ever read about water wetter that was neg. is that you can end up with leaks in your system. might just give it a try.

I've never seen a leak that was due to water wetter. In those cases, there were probably other issues that directly contributed to it.
