i have a 93, f150, 4x4, 5.0, msd 5, power-aid throttle body spacer, m50d 5-speed with a bw 1356 transfer case. i recently noticed that the transfer case had a crack along the drain hole, it is not leaking any fluid but it does bother me. i also have an np205 transfer case from a 79 bronco with a c-6 tranny. can anyone tell me if the np205 will bolt up to the m5od tranny. i would appreciate any help.

 

I think the 205 will fit. I had an 85 F250 4X4 diesel with a T19 and a 1345. I had the tranny out of the truck and was messing around with a 205 I had. The 205 bolted up perfectly in place of the 1345. So, unless there are different 1345 configurations out there, what you are wanting to do should work.

BTW, you are probably going to have to lengthen the rear driveshaft and shorten the front.

 

You're gonna have to use the 205 adapter and install a lengthened tailshaft, or notch your existing adapter for the 205 shift linkage.
