yep it's a flatty chris .and a 52 customline . . tim i'm off today but the rest of the week good luck finding me LOL!!!!!!!!!!! it still has the decals from the factory under the trunk lid about the jack < and even the jack is still there , and the ones on the glove box datailing tires and oil and the one concerning the lack of nickel in the plating due to the department of defense .Attachment 24155 i also found some of the stamps you used to get from the filling stations to put in the books to get prizes or gifts , and a 1958 insurance card / calendar in the glove box form of all things illinois national insurance company in virden which was owned and run by brenda's great uncle carl j lane . oh and a mint owners manual. i'm like a kid in a candy store . the car was bought new in auburn il . not virden like i thought . welp i gotta go see if i can get it too start . jeff it may have killed a couple of hemi's but i may be spending some cash to fix the tranny now yet . geuss i oughtta stop running her so hard ............ { THE BIRD !!! }

I'd cry too, if you took that nice ride from my driveway---what a find--Congrats--nothing like the sweet sound of that engine firing up after a long rest

yeah getup there upon occassion , but usually in her minvan or turd bird . found a list of shows up that way that i can't locate again , do you never know . you just might see the 52 wandering the roadways up there . gotta be geared more highway friendly than bessie is !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! p.s. it belongs here .... the da-- thing already has one of my screwdrivers down in the right fender it decided to eat while i was tinkering with putting the engine side heater assembly back in ......... everyone of my cars save her mini as i wont work on it , has some wrench or etc. in it somewhere they ate .............

ya know julie i have no idea what i'm looking for but it does have a plate with some stuff on it at the bottom of the column ( you can kinda see it in the pic ) . it does not have a nuetral safety switch as i have found out by trying it , so as to tell the other half in case she or someone else was to hit the ignition with it in gear ........ so anyway i'm kinda wondering myself .......... i'll have to look later Attachment 24205 p.s. i thought i was the only looney tune that got up this da-- early for work ................ gotta go do that now ..............
