Has anybody had any dealings with these new Felpro valve cover gaskets,
Pro's, Con's, IDK's?
They aren't rubber, they are hard and fitted I guess you could say crush proof like the timing
cover seal.
I just gotta set and wondering if they are any better than the others.

all I know about the new ones are they cost lot's

 

they work, as I told you in the text message. they are not new, have been on the market for a while.they like any other gasket are only as effective as the prep work. to use them, you use weather strip cement on 1 side only. other side has printed glue on it, that releases itself, and forms a bond when heated[motor started]. me personaly, I like cork valve cover, and oil pan gaskets.

 

If they are like the ones on my Lincoln's tranny, I love 'em....reusuable!

 

they are not re-useable. like I said before, heat makes them bond. once bonded, they really suck to remove. when all is good, they don't really leak though
