here are some photos that may help... basically this is what you do.
--take off wheel and tire
--take off brake caliper and pads
--remove brake disc
--loosen axle center nut (maybe 32 mm?), take nut off.
---see if you can bump the alxe shaft inward an inch thru the splined hub
---on the backside of the hub there are 3 bolts with 15 mm heads holding the hub to the knuckle.
--the 3 bolts are TIGHT. you may need a GOOD 6 point wrench and a 5 pound hammer. i have a special combination wrench from Craftsman that i can pound on without breaking.
--after the 4 bolts are out, pull the hub off the knuckle, maybe need a hammer and pointed chisel.
--if the hub will not move off the splined axle shaft, you will need a puller.
--you dont need to remove the ball joints.
--support the CV joint after removal - dont pull it apart or pull out too far.
--wire brush the splines and antisieze prior to reassembly.
