Get the unique Jag 'double knuckle' steering coupling that allows for movement of the front subframe not being transferred to the column.

And get all of the rubber mounts & steel mounting brackets too!

Oh....and brake stuff (M/C booster etc)

Ofcourse, most guys sell all the Jag bits - Seats, Gauges, Gas fillers, Body panels, Rear end etc for more than their original bye in!

Good Luck!

You got good advice. Get a decent length of the upper steering shaft that is above the double knuckle. I would also grab the shocks also if possible.

I just picked up a second Jag IFS last week. I got the rear rubber mounts, steering Z joint, sway bar mounts and power steering pump and hoses. The one thing that I DIDN'T get was the ends of the front brake hard lines. The front brake hoses have an end on them that is entirely different than any domestic hose configuration. The Jag hoses have metric male ends and use a special nut that attaches the flared hard line to the rubber hose.
BE SURE that you get these nuts for your IFS. Just clip a short piece of the front brake hard line that attaches to the brake hose.

I think you will really like how simple the Jag IFS installation is.

Jeff, you will more than likely have it running by fall, maybe not painted but you will have it on the road. You have the fire in you on this, I can tell, I had it with my 73 mustang. Your a motivated person that wants to see things done. I know one when I see one. I am one.

<-----Jeff working on his truck, ask your wife. She will agree with me. Lol

Tim she would agree with you but the " his truck " would have to change to " our truck "
LOL!! Yeah I don't sit around much, I will admit that. But I don't make deadlines on stuff like this. I just do what I can when I can and when ya keep pickin at it it just comes together. Tonight I had to stop and pay bills...so that will slow me down!

Hey I never did get anything from you on the brake pwer boost? did I miss it or...

You must have it in your messages somewhere, I sent it the first time and then when you asked if I got the message I resent the info. Check your message center, they should be on there.
