Ok Guy's this GTG is being set up to help a Fellow FTE members son. The reason we are looking at Orlando is a Fellow FTE member from Pa's son is there in school, he has no transportation other than a bike, and he may be getting a little home sick. Dad requested if we get up there, if we would get together with him. I am waiting to here back on maybe heading up there in about 2 weeks, we can pick the young man up and take him to lunch, and spend a few hours having a meet. A tentative date is Sat. May 22nd (subject to change), the place and time is still open as of now, (Orlando Guy's Idea's Please) Anyone interested, or already planning on going, please post in for a head count, and any suggestions for a good place to go. Come on Florida let's step up and make it happen!

May 22nd, I will be in Sebring for a Mustang GTG. Sorry, I will not be able to make the GTG.

What kind of place are you looking to gather at? Resturant or some type of business establishment?

You could google resturants, We have a Four Wheel Parts here in town, they have a large rear parking area, maybe call them and see if you could meet there.

What college is the son going to? That may help deciding where to meet.

Just a idea on where we could meet, there is a Long Horn Steak house just south of UTI or MMI on S Orange Blossom Trail, the address is- 12901 South Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando, FL‎ it is in the complex with Alberstons.
Just a thought unless more people may want to come and we could find something close to the interstate.

 

May 22 RIght now a maybe. Need a definate location. I will be comming from Hudson FL so don't know how far Orlando is. Any Hotels near by.

 

Orlando is almost straight across from Brooksville, just east of the center of the state, probably about a 2 hr drive for you. Roughly the same for me too. If you open the link I posted for a map just zoom out and you can see.

 

I am still waiting for a reply from His dad, to confirm he will be available to, and even want to meet with us. If not we can always change to a location closer to all of us!

I have to make a trip to PA for a wedding, leaving tomorrow, I will try to keep all of you updated while I am out of state. This trip is going to suck, 18hrs stay 2 days and 18 hrs back. Tried to get out of it but the wife cracked the whip!

chillmiller, Hey that's great you will be coming, I am just waiting on an e-mail from the Young man in Orlando, and we will have to decide on a place to go, which is no big deal since there will only be a small group. Keep checking back for some final details.
