Whats with the no body lifts?!!??

I know that big JoeF350 made a 3" for his rig, but has anyone else put a body lift on their's?

No company makes a bodylift for my 1994 F350 7.3 IDI. Id like to raise 1" or 2" for a 2.25 or 3" downpipe AND Id also like to fit some 37" MTZ's wrapped around some 20's.

anyone? Thank you in advance

20's? are you sure you're in the right forum ya sound kinda like a 'stroke owner there

seriously for small body lifts a couple packs of hokey pucks and grade eight hardware a bit longer than the stock bolts works pretty well

ive got a 1.5" on mine. nobody makes one for the diesel, but it is the same exact one as the gas. same body mount points and everything. you can just get one for the gas model. word to the wise though!!! your fuel neck hoses are going to be really tight. you are going to need to buy or make a bumper lift relocation brackets and thats gonna open your radiator up to getting hit by rocks so your gonna want a spoiler under the bumper.

I have a 3in body lift on my 88' F350 and a 4in supension lift also. It will say not for Diesel, but it will work. I also run electric fans on mine.

Oreo- Yes, 1.5" is better than 2". This is what I will do

Bud- Hmmm, electric fan. I may just do that

Peruses- LOL!! no, no Stroke here Ive just never seen 20/37's on a 94 F350 IDI before. I think it will look very unique and VERY amazing!!!

oh ya, with the 1.5" you have to trim about 1/4" off the bottom of your fan shroud or it will rub.

most any 20 you can find will be too wide, and force you to eithier lift a lot or trim the wheel wells, I think you could get away with just trimming the fenders out and that very small body lift, but you may get into a suspension rub and end up havig to limit your steering stops.

oreo's got a real nice looking setup, I wouldn't mind seeing some close ups of his trim job

if your interested, an live near or are going to the idi rally, im willing to sell the tires and wheels. $600 for the set. tires still got a good 10k left on them. they wear very well and dont hum very much. i was expecting way worse when i got them. was pleasantly suprised.

I have a 2'' on mine... I think they all say "not for diesel" because the drivers cylinder head can/will hit the fire wall after the lift... or at least that's what mine and other peoples do.

The reason I was given when I phoned up a supplier was that they were worried about the mods to the cooling system that have to be made and the possibility of over heating and a law suit...
