Well, i have accepted a tentative offer on Bit Mo'...i got what i was asking...and i am looking for the wife a replacement...she just never could get the hang of the big truck, so it has to go so i can go......I'm headed to Afghanistan as contracted maintenance personell...the pay makes it worth it, i just have to get used to the idea of being away from my kids and wifey for 6 months at a time...not to hard though, was gonna be gone driving a rig, so not a far stretch...
I feel your pain, I've been over here 6 months already, another 6 to go. It is hard being away from family but this forum keeps me sane. Skype does wonders for the family and friends. Where did you find the contract job, might be interested, could of retired last year but when you've spent half your life in the military what else is there for me to do......... Good luck Scott
That doesn't mean you have to leave us. Redford from the super duty section went over there and continued posting. You're still allowed to chime in. After all, you'll be coming back for good one day, and you'll need something to drive then, right? Might as well keep the knowledge up.
